Christmas is by far my favorite holiday. And yeah, I get that it’s long gone by now… most Christmas trees have been either put away or thrown out, wreaths have been unhooked, and most people’s christmas lights have been taken down (well… ok, a few people’s). It was Devyn’s first Christmas and my parents officially moved down to SoCal on Christmas Eve so I’m still reeling from all the festivities and fun events.
In LA, truly cold days even during the winter are honestly few and far between… This military jacket + scarf combo is my go-to for when I’m running out for a couple errands. I also love that it’s an ode to Christmas… I can’t help but think of pine and twinkling lights whenever I see green & red together!
Believe it or not, I actually made this scarf! I found this great tutorial here. I’m a scarf fiend so finding this how-to was like hitting the jackpot! But in case you’re not the DIY-type (or simply don’t have time), I’ve linked a few similar scarves below.
This Kate Spade bag is one of my go-to’s. You can never go wrong with a little black bag. Plus, I love how the silhouette is timeless and I have the option of using the handles, hanging it on my shoulder, or just throwing it on as a crossbody (especially when I’m juggling a diaper bag and a baby and pushing a stroller or a shopping cart or… the possibilities are endless).
And, of course, never evverr under estimate the power of a white tee and black denim. Am I right?!
The jacket and bag are older pieces that I’ve had for years, but I’ve linked some almost idential versions below. The exact tee, denim, and shoes are linked, though!
