Ok, how freakin’ excited am I for Spring to roll around already?! The last few days have been warm again for us (windy as hell but in the mid-late 70’s) and I’m just dying to put my shorts & sandals on and enjoy the bright blue sunny days with Devyn. (Who is starting to stand, y’all! WHAT HOW?)
What’s the thing us Californian’s cannot ever leave the house without? Hands down, our sunglasses! They don’t call us “Sunny SoCal” for nothin’. And Warby Parker’s Spring 2016 eyeglasses & sunglasses is everything we wanted for that fun in the sun, playful but chic look. Their collection is inspired by the circus – with bold colors and a whimsical vibe. It is delightful. What I love most is that they are classic silhouettes that get a breath of fresh style. So you can, essentially, stick to your tried and true shape, but with a little more moxie.
Him: Downing in Lemon // Her: Haskell in Pearl Horn
Laurel in Bellini
Does this not make you want to just get your butt to the beach and frolic with wet sand between your toes?! Or go get a ton of yummy state fair treats…!
You guys have heard of Warby Parker, right? I first saw their ads on Facebook – their Home Try-On totally got me. Basically, you get to pick 5 frames to try out for 5 days, to see which fits you best. All for free! Convenience at it’s finest. You can even get advice on which frames look the best on you from their team by taking a picture & sharing it on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the hashtag, #WarbyHomeTryOn! So fun, and super helpful! And with frames as hot as these, how could you pass that up?
Here are a few more of my other favorites from the new collection:
Dorset – Coastal Blue Fade
Haskell – [From top to bottom] Crystal with Manzanita, Crystal with Blue Jay, Crystal with Maple
Laurel – Peacock Green
I’ve actually been in the market for a while trying to figure out what kind of frames I want for some new glasses (I’ve had my current ones for almost 5 years now!), & what new fresh pair for this year’s spring/summer. I did have the pleasure of trying some Warby Parker frames on at Nordstrom a few weeks ago but I’m ordering my free trial today to try out this new collection in-person. I can’t wait!
And you wanna know what the absolute best perk is about buying from Warby Parker?
For every pair of frames purchased, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
And this world could use a little more love, don’t ya think?
Thank you to Warby Parker for sponsoring this post.
